MAA 1134: Principles of 3d Modeling

Through critical analysis, the student will apply basic design principles to the solution of visual problems using elements of 3D design. The student will conceptualize 3D coordinate systems, construct 3D models, and perform mathematical computations as they apply to geometric construction.

Week 5: Midterm Critique:

Make sure you bring your model saved as a Maya AscII file (.ma). The model should be completed using all quads by EITHER the box modeling or extrusion modeling techinques, or a combination of both. I DO NOT NEED NEED TWO SEPERATE PROJECTS TURNED IN, ONLY ONE, USING WHATEVER METHOD YOU ARE MOST COMFORTABLE WITH. The model should have it's two halves combined, be approrpiately grouped in the hypergraph, sized appropriately on the grid (not too large or small that viewing it breaks a clipping plane), be accuarte to the photos and image planes, have it's history deleted, and transformatons frozen. We will also be taking a multiple choice exam covering all of the topics above. Use the work below (which all recieved an A on this assignment to govern your project).
