Week 5: Critique-Introduction of final 2 projects
Due at the begining of class in week 5 are 3 wireframe renders of your Anatomical Human/Humanoid character and 3 regular, well-lit renders of the character. To recieve a passing grade, the Charcter must be

  1. completed from head to toe using (at least mostly) quadralateral face topology. Consideration for edgeloops and animateable structures desired.
  2. rendered in a visible and presentable way showing the wireframe of the model from several angles, as well as what the form looks like with wireframe off
  3. Must have eyeballs in place (not just eye sockets)
  4. Renders MUST be "full 1024" (1024x768 pixels) or larger. Please no renders at 640x480. Standard Def is dead. You can crop down from there to fit your character if you like, but to show the wireframe well, you will need a bigger render size.

To recieve an A or B, the character should also be (at least one or more of the following):

  1. sculpted at a higher poly level showing evidence of secondary and perhaps tertiary features.
  2. organized neatly in the hypergraph using a (any) logical naming convention system
  3. have a deleted history (before rigging) and frozen transformations.
  4. have consideration for things such as hair and teeth

You should submit 6+ well lit wireframe renders, and 1 maya file showing your completed work. Please do not include multiple maya files, or your charcter orthos (I already have those). Here are examples of the 6 renders that you need to submit for the midterm:
