MAA 1112: Drawing and Anatomy

Continuing to develop the basic drawings course, students will focus on rendering life forms in space. Emphasis will be placed on the basic anatomical structures of human and animal forms.

 

JUMP TO A SPECIFIC WEEK:

Week10: Final Anatomical Exam, In Class Rendering Exam with Double Models

Lecture: Crit. drawing from previous week. Check Final Project Preliminary Blocked-in/layouts.  FINAL EXAM: Below arre the structures that you will need to familiarize yourself with-
   
Lab: Final Anatomical Landmark/labeling & In-class Rendering Exams with Double models.
(color optional). Short warm-up, one or two long poses. EXAMPLES OF STUDENT WORK:

Homework:
1. Finish In-class Final Rendering with background, trim for crit. and scan for portfolio.
2. Finish Final Project, scan for portfolio and mount on black foam/presentation/matt board(s).
3. Finish Hardcopy Portfolio with digital file (save one for yourself)
8 1/2 x 11" hardcopies in plastic sleeves in cheap paper folder from Midterm.
Must include: All assignments on Bristol/good paper of everything before and including Midterm and everything after Midterm, esp. Final Rendering & Final Project. (Note: your final grade will be severely affected if these are not included.)
Final Project copy in color. Others may be black & white, color optional.
Label all of your assignments on the front with your name On the cover of the Hardcopy Portfolio put your Name, Quarter, Class & Sec, Day of Week and Instructor’s Name (Andrew Klein)
